Requirements

Quality Assurance Analyst – Remote (Future BA Growth)
MB Techfinity is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst who aspires to grow into a Business Analyst (BA) role. This fully remote, contract position offers a great opportunity to enhance your QA skills while building a strong foundation in business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Develop, execute, and document detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Assist in defining test strategies and improving QA processes.
- Participate in requirement analysis meetings to gain business knowledge for future BA responsibilities.
- Provide feedback on user experience and suggest product improvements.
- Document software requirements, user stories, and process flows as part of BA exposure.
- Support stakeholders in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and aligning development with business needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing (web and mobile applications preferred).
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with test case management and bug-tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and drive process improvements.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and career growth.
